Arctic Adventure Book Fair
SNOW MUCH TO READ!
Just in time for holiday shopping, the Scholastic Book Fair is one of Marshall’s biggest (and most exciting!) fundraisers of the year. Our library will be transformed into a book store filled with thousands of new and classic titles for your child to explore.

Marshall students will visit the Book Fair with their classes Monday - Wednesday to select books they would like to buy. Volunteers will help them write their selections on a “Wish List” that will come home in their backpacks.
When your student's wish list arrives home, please review their choices.
The Wish List indicates up to seven books your child is interested in having you purchase from the Book Fair. (Teachers and volunteers helped students find some “just right” books at their reading level, and tried to limit the number of toys and “dessert books” selected.)
You may purchase books from the Wish List in three different ways:
-
Visit the Book Fair! Parents / Guardians are strongly encouraged to visit the Book Fair (which is open during conferences) to review their child’s selections before purchasing books. This is a great way to get a head start on holiday and birthday shopping!
-
Go cash-free with eWallet. Return the "wish list" form indicating the items you would like to purchase and check eWallet under payment method.
-
Return the "wish list" form with cash/check. Simply check the boxes next to the books you would like to purchase and return the list by the specified date, through your child’s backpack. Please include the exact amount in cash or check, and make checks payable to “Marshall PTA”.
Your child’s book order will be filled the day your payment is received, and the books will be sent home in the backpack. If a book you ordered is out of stock, we will order the book and send it home as soon as we receive it.
We encourage you visit the fair even if you pay for wish lists in advance — there are so many great books for kids of all ages and even for adults!
Interested in volunteering?
Please visit the volunteer sign-up. There are opportunities to work with your child's class, or with book fair set up and decorations. We can also use your help when parents / guardians visit the book fair during conferences. If you have any questions, please contact the Book Fair committee at bookfair@marshall-pta.org.
Teachers have dreams too!
Before the Book Fair starts, teachers will preview the books and decide which ones they would love to add to their classroom libraries. You can purchase these books out of their bins at the book fair, or purchase a gift certificate for classroom teachers or specialists. What a great way to support your child’s class.
School Community Support
You can also purchase gift certificates for the library, or the Marshall Book Fund. The Marshall Book Fund helps provide books for children in our school community who need financial assistance.
Additionally Scholastic will match every dollar you donate, and will contribute the same amount to the Kids in Need Foundation, which works to ensure every child in the US is prepared to learn, providing school supplies to students in need.
Questions? Please contact the Book Fair committee at bookfair@marshall-pta.org. Thank You!
