Welcome Back to School
The Marshall PTA is excited to welcome all of our families to our 2024-2025 school year. We have so many great activities planned for the upcoming school year! Your support of the PTA is vital to helping to provide enrichment for your children and support for the staff here at Marshall.
Have a look around the website so you can see all of the ways to get involved here at Marshall.
We thank you in advance for you support and look forward to working with you throughout the school year.
Happening in October!
Hello October!
With the first month of school behind us, we hope all our Owls have settled into their new school routines and are looking forward to all the exciting things to come this month. October is jam packed – read on to learn what's happening and how you can be involved!
Socktober - 10/7 - 10/31
It’s the last week to send your owl to school with new socks to feed the sock bin! All socks will go to MEND (Meeting Essential Needs with Dignity) to distribute to food pantries throughout Essex County. We’ve collected 1,797 pairs of socks so far, and we only need 110 more to beat last year’s impressive total of 1,906 pairs. Thanks for helping Marshall School make a difference!

New Merch Alert!
New swag alert! The online store is fully stocked with cute new t-shirts, hoodies, joggers, magnets, a Hooty Stuffy, and more. Place your orders now, and merch will be delivered to your child's classroom within 1-2 weeks.
Fall Fest - 10/31
Our annual Fall Fest is next Thursday, October 31! Our students will enjoy games, arts and crafts, and more on this fun-filled day. The district has shared that students celebrating Halloween are able to wear costumes to school, but the theme for Marshall activities on October 31st is "Fall" so that all students feel included in our celebrations whether they celebrate Halloween or not. If your child would like to wear a costume to school, please follow these costume guidelines. Please note this school-day event is for students only.

A Fundraising Update
Thanks to your support, this year’s Walk & Move-a-thon raised $17,691! All the proceeds will go towards funding PTA events and services that engage and unite us in service to our children. We’d like to give a special shout out to fundraising committee members Gwen MacFarland, Amy Venero, Pamela Kim for all of their hard work in executing our biggest fundraiser of the year — and to you, our beloved Marshall School community, for answering their call to action. We did it, Marshall!
