The funds raised from the sale of raffle tickets goes to support all of the events the PTA sponsors to make Marshall School a special place like the Broadway intensive our kids got to experience last month. Marshall Summer Math Fun | 5/9

Please join us for an evening event on May 9th from 7-8:30 pm to learn how you can infuse some of the math your kids have learned at Marshall School into fun, play-based activities for the summer!
Teachers from each grade level will share exciting ideas about how to keep your kids engaged and learning throughout the summer... while getting them outside with hands-on activities. All attendees will be entered in a raffle to win supplies for a fun-filled summer!
Marshall & Jefferson's Diversity Festival | 4/20

Our annual Marshall & Jefferson Schools' Diversity Festival celebrates the diversity in people, music, and arts. It will take place Friday, April 20th at Marshall School's Cafetorium from 6:30 to 8:30 PM.
There will be an array of fun and culture-related activities planned for the whole family, arts and crafts, musical acts, art and — of course — lots of delicious food representing the diversity of our school. Come and see the multi-cultural richness of our community!

Girls Lacrosse Clinic | 4/8

Introduce 1st or 2nd Grade girls to the fun and exciting sport of lacrosse. Starting April 8th, this 6-week clinic on Sunday mornings (9-10 am) and will take place at Underhill Field (58 Burr Rd, Maplewood).
This is a great sport for girls to start young with lots of opportunities to grow with the sport. Former Maplewood Girls Lax Club and CHS coach Steve Ramos will be running the clinic. All players are responsible for bringing their own lacrosse stick, goggles, mouth guard and water bottle.
MAPSO Cares at Marshall School in March

MapSO Cares collects non-perishable food items to support SOMA families in need. All donations go to St. Joseph’s Food Pantry in Maplewood which cares for over 175 families in Maplewood and South Orange. Please bring non-perishable food items or travel sized toiletries at Marshall School. There will be a collection box by the front door entry for the month of March. Girls Leadership Workshops at Marshall School

For those that expressed interest in the Girls Leadership Workshops at Marshall, the workshops starts on Thursday, March 8 at 6:30 pm. These workshops are geared for Kindergartener to Third Grader girls and their grown up to teach social emotional intelligence, explore and communicate feelings and teach how to make healthy relationship choices.
