Week of May 11th

Marshall Spring Fundraiser

Get your tickets for the Spring Fundraiser on Friday, June 5, at the Maplewood Little Club. This adults-only evening helps fund the field trips, enrichment programs, and community events that create the magic that is Marshall. Enjoy music from DJ Cher La Luna, an open bar, light bites, and a silent auction, all in support of our amazing students.

Virtual Workshop: How to Talk to Kids about Disability and Neurodiversity

On Thursday, May 14, at 8:00pm, join us for a community-wide Zoom workshop for parents, educators, caregivers, and community members committed to raising inclusive kids who understand disability and neurodiversity as natural, important parts of human diversity. Zoom link emailed upon registration.

Change for Change Drive

Our third annual "Change for Change" drive is in full swing! Now through Friday, May 15, send your Owls to school with coins of all types. With their teachers' permission, they can put their donated change in our new bank (made by a local community member) in the main office. The change will be used to purchase grocery store gift cards for Marshall families in need to help combat food insecurity over the summer. Let's show our kids they're never too young to make a difference!

Spring Garden Clean Up

We’re planning a Spring Garden Clean-Up at Marshall School on Sunday, May 17th. We’d love your help to get the garden ready for the season! We’ll be mulching, pulling weeds, cleaning out the garden beds, and planting some flowers. If you’re able to join, please bring any extra garden tools and a pair of gloves. We appreciate the support and hope to see you there! Let us know if you’re coming!

Field Day

Marshall’s Field Day is Friday, May 29, with a rain date of June 4, and it’s an awesome opportunity to volunteer! This year’s theme is REDUCE REUSE RECYCLE, and our amazing PE Teachers are working hard with the support of the Marshall PTA to create a day focused on physical activity, teamwork, and sustainability.

Field Day T-Shirts

Students new to Marshall this year will receive a t-shirt to wear on Field Day. To help us offset this cost, click here. There is also a $10 donation option to help cover costs for other Marshall students.

Students who attended Marshall Field Day last year should wear their bright green Forever Field Day T-shirt. We will have a few extra t-shirts on hand the day of Field-Day for students without a shirt.
