No School Monday for Martin Luther King Jr. Day
Read-a-Thon | ends 1/31
1/20/2019 2:55 pm
What is the Read-a-Thon?
The read-a-thon raises money for our school while helping all the children improve their reading skills. Students and teachers choose what they want to read from comics to classics. They ask friends and family to sponsor them per book or per minute of reading. Sponsors can pay online, so you won’t need to collect any money.
Global Citizens Play Soccer | 1/24 and 1/25
1/16/2019 2:57 pm
Coach Nathan will be bringing soccer skills from around the world to Marshall in an interactive assembly that proves we're all on the same team. Coach Nathan Davies, a Guiness World Record holder and local resident, has been traveling the world using soccer for humanitarian work, bridging geographic divides with sport. He will be in residence at Marshall for two days, talking to the students about his experiences and inviting them to get on their feet and kick the soccer ball just like the kids in Lesotho, Spain, Colombia, Brazil, the USA, and Italy.
We need volunteers to help with this event, so please click HERE if you are able to help on Thursday or Friday!Read More

Marshall Service Project | Now through 2/1
1/16/2019 6:21 am
To honor Dr. King's legacy and his belief in service, Marshall students are participating in a school-wide project to donate over 500 backpacks filled with healthy food to an organization (Toni's Kitchen) that helps local families, and specifically children, who are experiencing food insecurity. Marshall's food drive begins now and goes through Thursday, 1/31. Students will collect, count, and organize the food as donations come in. Then on Friday, 2/1, every student will pack backpacks to be delivered to kids in need through tutoring facilities, after-school programs, and childcare centers.
Please click HERE to consider donating food, funds, or time to help with this project.
