Upcoming Early Dismissal
Wednesday, September 16, is an early dismissal day for Back to School Night. School ends at 1:00 pm.
Back to School Night + Parent Social
This Wednesday, September 16, is Back to School Night at Marshall from 6:30 - 8:00 pm! Meet your child’s teachers, visit their classroom, and get a sneak peek at the year ahead. Immediately following Back to School Night, keep the night going with a casual Parent Social at La Terrazza at Felina’s (101 S. Orange Ave.). Come grab a drink, reconnect with old friends, and meet some new ones!
Free Childcare for Back to School Night
We’re once again partnering with the South Mountain YMCA to provide free childcare for Marshall students during Back to School Night. Space is limited, so be sure to sign up here, and we’ll do our best to accommodate as many families as possible. Childcare is for Marshall students only (sorry, no non-Marshall siblings). We’ll send a follow-up email no later than Monday, September 14, confirming your spot and sharing the childcare drop-off location and timing.
Virtual General PTA Meeting
Our first General PTA Meeting is on Thursday, September 17, from 8:00 - 9:30 pm. All Marshall parents and caregivers are welcome! Join us virtually to hear from the PTA Board about what’s ahead for the year and ask your questions directly to Principal Swyberius and Assistant Principal Munguti. You can submit your questions in advance. Join us via Google Meet here.
Beyond the Bell Registration
BTB sign-ups opened this week and there are still spots left! Visit the website to scroll the available classes and to learn more about the fun after-school activities available to Marshall Owls on Wednesdays and Thursdays from October 7 - December 2. All registration questions should go to Jonelle Delk at beyondthebell@metroymcas.
Cultural Arts Fundraising Opportunity
In partnership with SOPAC, we invite you to bring the whole family to PANTO's Cinderella on Saturday, November 14, at 1 pm. The performance is an interactive, laugh-out-loud, twist on the classic fairy tale with music, spectacle, and plenty of audience participation. Marshall receives 10% of each ticket sold, by writing "MARSHALL" in the comments field at checkout. Please join us and help to spread the word!
