“Give a HOOT” Family Pledge
Participate in Marshall's Green Team’s family pledge project called GIVE A HOOT! We hope every family will complete the pledge sheet sent home in backpacks and select ways to improve their environmental impact. Please return completed sheets ASAP, so that students can proudly display their commitment to a better future throughout the hallways of Marshall!

Volunteers Needed for “Give a HOOT” Project
Sign up here to come and help the Green Team add Family Pledge Leaves made by Marshall families to the trees volunteers assembled to beautify our hallways! No craft experience necessary. We hope to see you on Wednesday, May 7th!
Marshall Spring Fundraiser
Our annual spring fundraiser is this Friday, May 9th! Get your tickets for Marshallpalooza and join us from 7–11 pm at the beautiful Orange Lawn Tennis Club in South Orange! It will be a memorable evening of live music from Gravy Train, tasty food, raffles, student artwork, and community connection — all to support our amazing kids. Help us raise funds for the benefit of all Marshall kids.
PTA Officer Nominations
The Marshall community can now submit nominations for next year’s PTA Board! Submit your nominations here by May 12, and check your inbox for more information about how to nominate, vote, and join the PTA Board.
Field Day
Our Marshall Owls will be taking a TRIP AROUND THE WORLD for FIELD DAY 2025 on THURSDAY, MAY 22 (Rain Date Friday May 30). Field Day will be held on Marshall's grounds this year, and students will participate in different internationally-themed events around the school. Each student will receive a Field Day t-shirt at school to wear on Field Day. A $5 t-shirt purchase covers one student’s shirt, or you can help cover the cost of another student with an $8 purchase. Every student will receive a t-shirt.

Team Unscreen’s “Wait Until 8” Pledge
Over 500 SOMA families have already signed the “Wait Until 8th” pledge, which aims to delay smartphones/social media until high school. We’re aiming to hit 1,000 families this spring, and we would love for you to join in the movement! Signing the pledge is the best way to track the shift in our community so that we can make this change together!
